Our firm’s compliance group is recognized for being at the forefront in matters of criminal liability of legal persons, especially in the new Law No. 21,595 on Economic Crimes which, in addition to introducing relevant modifications for the management organs of companies, regarding penalties and additional consequences to the penalties applicable to the persons responsible for economic crimes, introduced important modifications to Law No. 20,393 on criminal liability of legal entities.
